Compare My Heating Oil is an independent directory of named UK heating oil suppliers, together with a facility that lets households request a quote for their postcode. We do not collect or publish supplier prices ourselves. We are not a heating oil supplier and we do not sell or arrange the delivery of heating oil ourselves.
Any price you are quoted is determined by the individual supplier at the time of order. Prices vary by postcode, volume, delivery type and date of order. When you request a quote through this site, you contract directly with the supplier you choose.
We take reasonable care to ensure that information on this site is accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty - express or implied - as to its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. Supplier details, coverage areas and fleet sizes are sourced from publicly available information and may not reflect the current position of any given supplier.
You should verify any information that is material to a decision before acting on it.
This site contains links to third-party websites, including supplier websites. We have no control over the content or availability of those sites and accept no responsibility for them. A link does not constitute an endorsement. When you click through to a supplier's site you are subject to their terms and privacy policy.
We have an affiliate partnership with Certas Energy, which holds a featured listing on this site. A featured listing is a paid position: the supplier pays to appear in the card at the top of our results and of each location page, and in the bar at the foot of every page. It is advertising, it is labelled as such wherever it appears, and it is not a recommendation earned on price, reviews or any test we have run. Under that partnership we may receive a fee when a reader contacts Certas Energy or places an order after clicking through from this site; the fee is paid by Certas Energy, is separate from the price you are quoted, and costs you nothing. That position is labelled as a paid placement wherever it appears. No other supplier pays us, and suppliers below the featured card are listed alphabetically. Full details are set out in our How we make money page, and any commercial relationship is disclosed on the relevant supplier's profile page.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter that cannot be excluded under English law.
