East of England
Where we would start, and two alternatives worth a call. Chosen on depot location, published delivery and payment terms and accreditation. Not on price, and not on star ratings.
Where we would start
Goff PetroleumThe head office sits at Wymondham inside the county, and the firm runs a fleet of dedicated domestic tankers rather than treating households as a sideline of a commercial operation. It is a UKIFDA member covering the East of England and the South East, so it combines a genuinely local base with the reach of a large distributor.
Worth a call if you have an Aga or Rayburn or want to join a village oil-buying group; part of the employee-owned WCF group with eight depots across the East and North.
Also worth a call
Berry Oils LtdA single-depot Beccles firm on the Suffolk border, useful for the Waveney Valley and awkward driveways, running a small tanker and a 900-litre pickup for tight access.
Goff, CPS and R Stiff & Sons are one company group, so treat them as a single option rather than three.
Confidence in this pick: high. That reflects how much verifiable evidence we found for this area, not how good the supplier is.
These are suggestions of where to start, not a verdict on who is cheapest today. Prices move daily and no independent per-supplier price data exists for Great Britain. Ring two or three and compare on the day. These picks are editorial and cannot be bought; the only paid position on the site is the featured card held by our affiliate partner, which is labelled as such. How we choose.
